| With the CM690 II Advanced USB 3.0, Cooler Master has a well thought and meanwhile mature case in its portfolio. The midi tower comes with a lot of good and useful features and even the manufacturing quality is on a high level so everything fits perfectly. What makes this case especially interesting is the exceptionally good price/performance ratio. | -

| It doesn't matter which part you take off and put back on again at the CM690II.
Every piece fits perfectly. Even regarding the ergonomics Cooler Master makes almost everything right. The hard disk cages are well accessible and easy to use, a CPU cooler can be easily installed even when the motherboard is already in place and the wiring can be done neatly. As a special feature have the possibility to attach an internal hard drive outside, on the top of the case. Therefore Cooler Master preinstalled the according SATA connectors. Optimization could be done with the fans. Their bearings produce a noise which is well audible and in silent-system here it quite well. |

| With the CM690 II Advanced USB 3.0 the leading design elements are the thin chromed bars as well as the perforated metal plates but also the blue illuminated fan which shines through the front catches the eye. Overall the design looks decent and functional only the blue fan in the front might polarize especially because it shines quite bright. | -
