The Cooler Master Hyper 212Evo mainly consists of aluminium and copper. The heatpipes make use of the direct touch principle which means that they get direct contact with the CPU. To transport the heat as efficiently as possible from the CPU there are four heatpipes which all have a diameter of six millimeters. Altogether there are 40 fins soldered to the heatpipes. As standard the cooler comes equipped with one 120 millimeter PWM fan and an additional clamping mechanism if you want to add a second fan to your Hyper 212Evo.
We did not see any manufacturing mistakes on our sample, and it seems that it has been well made which means that manufacturing is on a high level. The heatpipes do have different bending radius, which gives them an offset regarding the area where the heat is being transferred to the fins. Furhtermore this cooler comes with a total of 57 fins. Aerodynamically they are not special. Their simply flat sheets of metal.
