Conclusion

Regarding the KHX2000C9AD3W1K3/6GX, Kingston really succeeded in putting together absolute high-end modules which do have almost no competition. Also the manufacturing quality and the looks of these modules has been able to convice. But the most astonishing thing about these modules is definitely the low voltage that is needed to drive them way over 1'000 MHz. In fact 1.425 Volt have already been enough for this kind of overclocking.
We can see from our graphs that Kingstons KHX2000C9AD3W1K3/6GX modules don't only allow high clock frequencies, they also allow you to set aggressive timings at very low voltages. Therefore Kingston had to select absolute high-end chips which mark state-of-the-art-technology. In our case it didn't matter if we tested these modules with CL9-10-9-27-2T or CL7-10-7-27-1T. Using both of these settings we saw that more than 1'110 MHz were possbile using our testplatform. The only difference can be found in the voltage one needs to give these modules. The low latency settings demanded for 1.525 Volts and the higher latencies were possible with 1.6 Volt.
We generally recommend this memory kit to PC-Enthusiasts as well as overclockers and extreme overclockers. At the moment it is really difficult to find modules that perform better than these Dominator GTs.
