Conclusion

Regarding size and material the Roccat Alumic is a very good product. Very practical is that one can simply flip it over and then you're going to get either a rough or a very smooth textured surface. In other words you get two mouspads in one. Because the pad is made of aluminium it es very easy to clean and it takes a lot until there are scratches.

A closer look at the Alumics build quality reveals that this is very well done. All the edges are soft and therefore you wont feel it cutting into your wrist. The four rubber feet give the pad a very safe stand and it can only be repositioned if you lift it up. And last but not least the gel wrist rest is a very comfortable addition. But here we have to add that not everybody likes it when the hand isn't lying on the table. For this reason it attached to the pad itself. It is optional and you can add the rest if you like.

Overall the Roccat Alumic is a very good product and there simply isn't anything that could have been done better. Therefore this mouspad get five ot of five stars.
