Conclusion

Regarding the Dominator GT PC3-17'000, DDR3-2133 CL9-10-27, Corsair really succeeded in putting together absolute high-end modules which do have almost no competition. Also the manufacturing quality and the looks of these modules has been able to convice. If you decide to use the additional aircooler which they put into the box even extreme overclocking will be no problem for these modules.
We can see from our graphs that Corsairs Dominator GT DDR3-2133 CL9-10-9-27 modules don't only make high clock frequencies possible they also allow you to set aggressive timings. Therefore Corsair needs to select absolute high-end chips which mark state-of-the-art-technology. In our case it didn't matter if we tested these modules with CL9-10-9-27-2T or CL7-10-7-27-1T. Using both of these settings we saw that 1'154 MHz were possbile using our testplatform. The only difference can be found in the voltage one needs to give these modules. The low latency settings demanded for 1.7 Volts and the higher latencies were possible with 1.55 Volt.
We generally recommend this memory kit to PC-Enthusiasts as well as overclockers and extreme overclockers. At the moment it is really difficult to find modules that perform better than these Dominator GTs.
