| With the Spawn gaming mouse, Cooler Master developed an interesting gaming mouse which surely can be used as an everyday desktop mouse too and not only for gaming purposes. The mouse can be connected via USB cable and there is no need of any driver installation. The DPI can also be changed by pressing one of the two buttons behind the scrollwheel which we also liked. | -

| The CM Storm Spawn Gaming Mouse which is only suitable for right handed gamers allows a very natural position of your hand. A well defined pressure point for every button is also very comfortable. Using the grippy mouse wheel also scrolling can be done absolutely effortlessly and on top of it the scrollbutton is very responsive. The two thumbbuttons are for small hands not so easily accessible. The mouse is very small and in our opinion not really suitable for hours of playing. Furthermore people who tend to lift the mouse while holding it between thumb and small finger will notice that the weight of this thing hasn't been balanced properly. As a result the gliding pad in the back will still slide over the mouse pad although you lifted the front part. The fact that there is no possibility to adjust the tracking distance makes the mouse still send command to the PC and moving the cursor. We're quite sure that this could be a killer criteria for several gamers and we would really like to see a second version of the Spawn which comes with a perfect balance. | - very responsive scrollbutton - large buttons - two thumb button |
