Inside the PC-V354 we see that it comes with some nice features. The best about it are the two hard drive cages which can carry a total of seven 3.5 inch drives. Almost standard these days is the feature that hard drives can be mounted using a mechanism that absorbs vibrations. Right in front of the hard drive cages there are two transparent 120 mm fans which provide the interior with plenty of fresh air. Furthermore the power supply is going to be installed on rubber coated bars which don't only provide good grip they also absorb vibrations to a certain extent. What we really didn't like to see are the eight screws one needs to remove until one can take off a side panel. At this point we would highly appreciate any kind of click mechanism. |

The right side panel also has to carry the motherboard and therefore operates as a motherboard tray too. This bares the consequence that there is no empty space between the side panel and the motherboard tray and therefore no additional space to hide cables. Especially when one is going to install seven hard drives and a big graphics card the interior can become quite crowded and wiring this thing will take quite some time. On one of the pictures you can also see the fan controler which is able to handle four fans. To take this side panel off you'll also first have to remove eight screws. |
