| The Sabertooth P67 generally is an interesting board. In combination with a down-draft CPU cooler to this motherboard will be cooled very efficiently. This will as a consequence extend the components lifespan. But on the other hand if you should be using a tower cooler then the likelihood for hot spots increases. Never the less, the also the "Thermal Radar" offeres good possibilities to control the temperatures and airflow in your case. Using the corresponding software one can control the fans connected to the board and therefore realize a highly efficient cooling. |

Generally the ASUS Sabertooth P67s layout is well thought. Once more very practical are the angled SATA connectors. Unfortunately there are no practical power/reset buttons onboard and also for a debug LED you'd be looking in vain. What has been very well thought concerns the placement of the PCI-Express x16 slots therefore nothing needs to be criticized at this point. One reason is that there are two slots between the two PCI-Express x16 slots. Another point concerns the fact that the slot at the bottom edge of the board is a legacy PCI slot which means that if you install a dual slot video card you won't block all the different headers at the bottom edge of the board. |

| [This motherboards performance is rather constant. Throughout the Futuremark benchmarks it is able to perform in the center span. Regarding the memory benchmarks as well as 2D and game tests you'll also find that the performance is average. Therefore this board neither shows strengths nor weaknesses. | |||

| For the ASUS Sabertooth P67 overclocking definitely isn't something unknown. You'll quickly find suitable settings and with a good air cooler even beginners will quickly succeed in overclocking a recent Sandy Bridge CPU. If you should plan to use this board for extreme overclocking there definitely are better boards on the market than the Sabertooth or in other words, this is not what it has been built for. Another important thing about the "Thermal Shield" is that we highly recommend to use a down draft CPU cooler. If you for example use a tower cooler the temperatures all over the board will be higher than without the "Thermal Shield". |

| Generally spoken we can recommend the Sabertooth P67 to gamer or modder who like the camouflage Design of this board. Place in an enclosure with a side window it will most definitely be an eye catcher. | -
