Technical data / specifications
With the GTX 460 SOC (Super Overclock) Gigabyte
has GTX 460 in its portfolio which has been highly modified. Therefore they
equipped this card with a brand new seven phase power design that is able to
allow good overclocking potential. Gigabyte itself overclocks the card by 140
MHz as a factory default, resulting in a GPU clock of no less then 815 MHz. Also
the memory clocks have been tweaked and the GTX 460 SOC now features 4'000 MHz
on the memory.
The Taiwanese company also overworked the cooler which is still a dual-slot
version but much more powerful thatn the standard design. Even under load it is
able to keep the temperatures low and also the nois level, especially under idle
condition, is very low.
