Conclusion

With the HAF 912
Plus Cooler Master has a simple midi-Tower case in its portfolio.
We miss a bit Cooler Master showing new concepts and fresh ideas. We'd
wish for example there they'd put more useful features also into their
budget cases. These could be simple things like thumbscrews every where
or more complex ones like a completely tool-less design. |

Manufacturing quality / Ergonomics |
|
+ |

Generally the manufacturing quality is on a fairly
good level. The power supply rests on rubber feet which do absorb some
vibrations. Unfortunately there is noch anti-vibration mechanism for the
hard drives or anything else in the case which is why you might hear
vibration noises after some time. The cable management on the other hand
was positive. The location of the different holes has been well thought
and it allows you to wire your case neatly. It is also possible to
install a CPU cooler when you have your motherboard already installed.
This is because there is a big hole in the motherboard tray directly
behind the CPU socket. |

Design |
|
+ |

Last but not least
the blue LED fan in the front is an important design element. But never
the less, the case seems quite neutral and everything else then funky or
flamboyant. Generally we miss a bit the certain something, some kind of
an x-factor a gaming case should have. |

We'd recomment the Cooler Master HAF 921 to gamer who
do not have a lot of money for a state of the art gaming case. |
