Overclocking

Althogh the card has already been overclocked quite seriously it still has reserves! In Aquamark 3 we were therefore able to push the GPU frequency up to 1'064 MHz and the memory clock to 1'370 MHz. For these purposes Gigabyte provides you with it OC-Guru tools which looks difficult but is easy to use. The Gigabyte 5870 SOC definitely is an overclocking monster! Overclockers will also like the fact that a Voltera-chip has been put on the board which makes it possible to rise GPU and memory voltages. For our run we increased GPU and memory voltage by 0.1 Volts. We also didn't expect that card to stay at reasonable temperatures but Gigabytes dual-slot cooler really does a good job.
