Overclocking

Thanks to a Volterra Chip and the Tool SmartDoctor it's easily possible to adjust the GPU voltage. Default the voltage is set to 0.962 Volts. Generally we can say if we increased the voltage to maximum, which in this case is 1.087 Volt, is was possible to get a GPU clock rate which was 27 percent above the reference clock. In Aquamark3 it was possible to benchmark at 770 MHz GPU clock and 880 MHz memory clock. A negative thing is that under load the GTX470 gets very loud and also very hot. 3DMark Vantage caused the GPU to reach 97 degree Celsius.
