The Pure Base 600 from be quiet! is a case that it supposed to be used to build an entry-level gaming system, with the price of the case being below the 100 Euro mark. Design wise be quiet! cases have always featured simple and elegant looks and with the Pure Base 600 be quiet! is changing nothing on this. Compared to the Silent Base 600, which we’ve reviewed quite a while ago, the Pure Base 600 is even more simple and budget-oriented. While there is some sound dampening material as well, there is no front door anymore. The Pure Base 600 comes with a large tempered glass left side panel or if you want you can also go for the classic solid side panels. While the front is simple and neat, the top part features a huge mesh without any dust filters. In order to keep the lines as simple as possible, be quiet! placed the I/O connectors on the top where we find two USB 3.0 ports, a fan controller as well as mini-jacks for microphone and headphone. The back panel is simple and straight forward as we find the opening for a 120mm fan, space for the I/O shield and a total of seven slot bezels covering the motherboards expansion slots. The bottom part of the case features an opening for the ATX power supply and the removable and washable dust filter.
