The series of headsets made by HyperX is mainly designed for gamers, but we are aware that many players use the same pair of headphones for listening to music or just watch some TV-show. As usual we have tested the sample with our suite spending several hours listening to music, watching movies and playing some recent game. First of all let's check how is made the headphones; the HyperX Cloud Stinger use large 50 mm drivers that should be able to guarantee a good reproduction of the sounds. Insulation is pretty good due to thanks the material used for the comfortable pavillions that offer a good pressure on your head.
Despite the relatively low price for a gaming stereo headset, the Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger headset was a rather pleasant surprise and the sound is, in our opinion, well balanced. While testing this headset we found it has great reproduction of highs, mids and bass. Overall Kingston did a good job from this point of view. Even in the field of gaming we have nothing to say about this headset, the sound is always pretty clear and on a good level.

Microphone

The microphone on this headset is very good and so is the design. As you can see from the pictures there isn't any button for disable the microphone. The microphone can easily be muted by simply pushing it up. The VOID is capable of making your voice sound very natural and it doesn't matter whether you're talking over TeamSpeak or Skype.
