If we connect to systems to the Fritz!Box 7490 using the 1Gbit Ethernet ports and then start our tests we find that the throughput when writing tops out at 52 MB/s writing and 93 MB/s reading. Read speeds are as expected but in the case of the write speeds would have wished for more. Both test systems have been equipped with a PCIe SSD to completely eliminate the possibility of the bottlenecking.
