Gigabyte provided the H55-UD3H with a blue PCB. The memory slots received blue and white tones and cooling blocks are covered with blue and grey. From a design point of view Gigabyte shows nothing news with the H55-UD3H in this case.

A four phase power design is responsible for a stable current supply to the CPU. Therefore Gigabyte uses DuraCap capacitors. They have a life span which is 2.5 times higher than the life span of standard capacitors. If you want to install a big CPU cooler this is no problem too because there is plenty of space around the CPU socket.

Totally you'll find four DIMM-slots on the Gigabyte H55-UD3H. Officially supported are DDR3-2200+/2000/1800/1600/1333/1066 with up to 16 GByte capacity.

Gigabyte keeps the H55-UD3H's southbridge on adequate temperatures with a passive cooling element. Compared to a lot of other boards this one isn't equipped with a cooler on the current converters.
