The Gigabyte H55-UD3H is one of the first motherboards that support Intels new Core i3 and Core i5 CPUs which feature an integrated graphics chip. Therefore the little board is a prefect basis for a well performing office-PC and the fact that you don't need to put in an additional graphics card helps you saving power. | - Performance | ||
Layout | + | ||
The H55-UD3H leaves a well structured and clean impression. The only issue we spotted is, that when you put an additional graphics card into the second PCI-e Slot you wont be able to use the connectors at the bottom edge of the mainboard anymore. |

This board comes with quite decent performance. In Futuremark as well as in the gaming benchmarks the H55-UD3H is able to keep up with even the fastest boards we've ever tested. Also convincing that's what the performance in the memory intense benchmarks was. Only in Super Pi and Wprime the results range in the lower center span. The good base performance makes this little board even more interesting for office/desktop use. | -

Overclocking | + | - | |
The Gigabyte H55-UD3H keeps up astonishingly well with other boards which a way more expensive regarding overclocking. Quickly you'll find suitable settings in the clearly arranged BIOS and especially important for beginners is the fact that the board also is very forgiving if you should chose settings that don't work. Obviously the board hasn't been built for extreme overclocking but playing around a bit with the CPU or RAM frequency is absolutely no problem at all. | -
