| There are still some problems when using a mini ITX board with its own external power supply. The BQ656 is designed for mainboards without it own power supply. Even then the SATA cable is a bit too short but can be used when removing the harddrive with the cage. In this version of the BQ656 there is only one power button available, the one on the external remote control. There is another version of the BQ656 with power switch and USB and audio in the frontpanel. So you are free to use it mounted to the back of an monitor or just standing on a desk. |
| Manufacturing quality / Ergonomics |
| The case is well made and all the bits and pieces are fitting perfectly. The space in the case is quite limited. |
| Design |
| The BQ656 is very good looking little thing. It is very small and can be placed almost everywhere. Although you can you don't have to hide it behind you display. |
| Recommendation |
| This small form factor case can be used as media center as well as desktop computer. If you don't know wether to use the BQ656 mounted on the back of a monitor or just as a desktop, we recommend to take the version with integrated power switch, audio and USB in the frontpanel. The external remote control can be ordered additionally. |
