Conclusion
The Thermaltake Core P5 is an excellent solution for modders and gamers who want to show off their PC. We are aware that some manufacturers / modders are creating similar layouts but only for more advanced users. Thermaltake Core P5 is perfect for everyone since it does not require any special skills for the mounting process. Installing the components and parts is quite intuitive, however, we would like to find a better manual and a more detailed view of each part since there are tons of screws.
The build quality is excellent and the Core P5 is a solid and very sturdy product. Also checking in detail the edges and the corners we have not detected any problems. This is actually no small case. In fact, it's rather larger but still it's not possible to use a motherboard with a form factor bigger than ATX. Nevertheless you can install huge radiators (up to 480mm), which allows you to realize high-performance watercooled systems. The Core P5 doens't only offer a lot of space for radiators but also for reservoirs. The space that separates the components from the enormous plexyglass panel is of about 18 cm, which is more than enough for every kind of watercooling setup.
Another aspect that we liked is the cable management and the sheer amount of space available, despite this chassis is more similar to a benchtable, you can easily place up to three HDD/SSD and create an excellent cable management. Due to the impressive size we recommend power supplies with long cables or even extensions.
Thermaltake Core P5 is listed on Geizhals for 130 Euro. In our opinion, the price is appropriate given the quality of the product and the rich bundle that comes alongside. Thermaltake Core P5 receives 4 stars out of 5.
