On the backside you find an outtake fan with a diameter of 120 millimeters. Right below there are seven slot bezels located which unfortunately need to be broken out before you can install a card. After you did that you cannot put them in anymore. | To open the case you only have to release the corresponding thumb screws. Well visible are also the two rubber in/outlets for the tubes of a water cooling system. |
The seven bezels are being tightened using thumb screws. One specific thumb screw looks very suspicious. It tightens another bezel at the back of the case. If you remove it you can install a bracket which stabilizes big and heavy graphics cards. | With the CM690II you mount the power supply on the ground. The perforated metal therefore allows an optimal air circulation. Furthermore the rubber feet reduce vibration. |
