Included in the delivery there is a total of six fans. All of which feature a diameter of 120 millimeter and they spin with up 1400 rpm. All these fans come with 3 pin headers only, which means rotation speed cannot be controlled. This results in a noise level which is simply too high for such an expensive case. At this price a user should have the possibility to run a system whisper silent. Instead of that the PC-O8 is well audible when running in idle. If you want a silent PC you’ll have buy aftermarket fans. We would really like to see Lian Li to either equip this case with a fan controller or with fans that feature 4 pin headers, which can be controlled using the PWM signal. If you should really dislike the PC-O8 then you can choose the PC-O8S, which comes without fans but unfortunately also without the RGB LED lighting.

A quick look at where fans can be installed shows a spot for a 120 millimeter fans at the back behind the motherboard, another two can be place in the top above the CPU cooler, three more are in the front part of the case on the right hand side and two more 120 millimeter fans remove hot air through the hard drive cage, which is located behind the motherboard tray. Integrated into the top as well as on the right hand side there are removable dust filters, which can be cleaned using tap water. Overall the there is good airflow in this case, which allows for good temperatures.
