| The new Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme Gaming did well in our tests, had a great factory
overclock and ships with a really decent custom Windforce 2x dual fan cooler.
The overall manufacturing quality is on a good level and apart from that the Windforce 2x cooler is capable of cooling the card noiselessly in idle. Gigabyte also did a really good job regarding the factory overclocking of this particular card. The fact that the GPU overclocks to more than 1417 MHz makes this one of the fastest GTX 950 graphics cards available. Even the pricing of this card is attractive, since this particular GTX 950 costs 20 Euro more than the reference card, which is adequate for the extras you get. |

| As noted earlier, the Windforce 2x dual-fan cooler is good and definitely runs circles around the reference solution. | The performance is where the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme Gaming
is on a very competitive level. There is an impressive factory overclocking
and the card hits 1417 MHz in games. Apart from that also the memory has been overclocked from 6610 MHz to 7000, which brings another noticeable boost to the table. The power consumption of the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme Gaming is quite high in idle with power consumption of the entire setup at 68W. Under load, the new GTX 950 Xtreme Gaming pulls 180 Watts, which is ok. Overall this is not the most energy efficient card, which can be explained by the rather substantial factory overclock. |
