Overclocking

The GeForce GTX 275 Lightning comes with an ISL 6327 voltage regulator chip which allows to rise the core voltage. Like this it is possible to get way higher clock rates. We absolutely were astonished be MSI's own power design. It is really able to get the best out of this card. Using air cooling the card did 800 MHz in Aquamrk 3 which some GTX 275 cards don't even do using liquid nitrogen as a coolant. Furthermore MSI's GTX 275 Lightning can shut down power phases to save power. Three LED's at the backside show the status: red/10, blue/6 and green/3 active phases.
