Above the number pad tehre is a small switch key using which one can switch between the numberpad and action keys (arrow keys, Home, End, Delete, Insert, Page Up and Page Down). If you activate gaming mode the action keys will be active and the arrow keys are covered in blue light. On the other hand if the number pad is activated there is no backlight. This function is annoying if you're very used to the Delete key because you cannot use it when you're in gaming mode. The advantage of this solution definitely is the keyboards size which makes it very easy for transportation for example to a LAN party.

Despite the keyboards compact size Roccat equipped the Arvo with standard size keys which have a well chosen release point. This enables quick typing with making a lot of mistakes. You als get used to the keyboard quickly. Even druing long gaming sessions one's hands always are in a comfortable position.
