The
Roccat developers have proven that they are able to learn from errors. The
Kone's quality for example wasn't that good but the Kova's is. With it's new
design and included LEDs it also attracts gamers who'd like to show off a bit at
LAN parties. Especially the breathing option is very nice.
The first time we connected the Kova to the PC it wasn't recognized so we had to
do this again but afterwards it worked. Furthermore the Kova comes equipped with
onboard memory like this it keeps the setting you've use during your last
session. Unfortunately there is no possibility to save profiles but we think you
wont miss that feature.
Roccats
Kova suits left- as well as right-handed people and it allows you a natural
position of your hand. If you like to lift the mouse this might be a bit of an
adventure at the beginning because it laser still tracks the surface when it's
almost 1 centimeter in the air. The average size makes it usable for almost
every player no matter how big or small their hands are. Very comfortable is the
scroll wheel which because of its wide size is easy to use.
To use the Kova you don't need to install software but its
recommendable to take a look at the Quick Install Guide because otherwise it
would take you quite a long time until you find out all the different button
combinations to activate all the features.
If your looking for a solid gaming mouse which comes with a nice design and some illumination you can't do anything wrong with the Kova.
The Roccat Kova Gaming Mouse can be bought at Digitec to a price of CHF 57.- (est. EUR 38.-).Page 1 - Introduction | Page 5 - Software / Driver |
