Gliding characteristics

The Mousepad has been tested in combination with several mice. Among them the Steelseries XAI, Razer Orochi, Razer Lachesis and the Steelseries Ikari. Moving the mouse on the pad leaves a raze noise. Depending on the hardness of the mousepads these noises can vary quite heavily. The grinding sound shows the actual gliding characteristics, they reflect the friction. Comparing with the Steelseries XAI and the Steelseries Ikari, it seems that the Razer Orochi (120gr) shows the best gliding effect on the 9HD which obviously is down to the consitence of the Orochis glide pads. Getting used to the 9HD what should be achieved after only a few hours of usage, fast and precise navigation of the mousepointer should be well possible.

Comfort

Due to the small height of the mousepad, it feels very comfortable. The size is just perfect, so it stays in place and needs not be pushed aroung on the table.

Stability / Adhesive properties

The Pad is provided with a rubberized back which keeps the pad in place. Because of this the skid resistance is very good. It doesn't matter if the pad is used on a smooth, glossy surface or even on wood.
