Software Part 1

In the "assign buttons" tab, you can program various functions to each of the buttons based on your own preferences. If you would like to assign a macro to a button, select “Macro” from the dropdown menu. In addition, all saved macros will be shown on a sub dropdown menu for quick selection when you hover over the “Macro” option.



Looking at the adjust performance tab, you will find a lot of settings to choose from. DPI can be adjusted by moving the arrow along the slider in steps of 125 DPI up to 4000 DPI. If you like to you can set up five different sensitivity stages. Within those stages you can enable independent X-Y settings. Additionally you can enable the On-The-Fly sensitivity by assigning it to a specific mouse button. On-The-Fly Sensitivity is only available in Wired Mode. Another nice feature is, that you can enable the acceleration from one to ten and the polling rate wich is predifined in three stages from 125Hz (8ms), 500Hz (2ms) and 1000Hz (1ms). In Wireless mode the Razer Orochi operates at 125Hz and at a maximum sensitivity of 2000 DPI.


On the manage profiles tab you can set up to five different profiles. Each with its own settings. You can switch to a profile on the fly and immediately load all your preferred mouse settings. Right-click on the field “Assign Application” to open up directory browsing. Select the executable file of the program you want the profile to be tied to.
