Conclusion

With the K62 Lancool presents a well thought gaming-case which is made entirely out of steel. With a weight of 9.55kg the K62 isn't what you call a lightweight but when you on the other hand look at it's price it quickly turns out to be very interesting.

Let's start with the K62's pluspoints because for examples it comes with a lot of space for all the components you might install. Hard drives can be put into special carriages very easily and afterwards you can slide them into the specific cage. In the front and in the top you'll find blue illuminated 140 mm LED fans are are mounted using anti vibration rubber grommets. On the backside there is also a 120 mm fan which unfortunately isn't a LED fan. If you're thinking about putting one of todays biggest graphics cards into the Lancool K62 such as a NVIDIA GTX 295 or ATI Radeoon HD 5970 it isn't a problem at all thanks to the cases comfortable depth. Also a good feature is the snap-mechanism which holds expansion cards tightly in place. Looking at the side panels we would wish that on the bottom edges there are U-profiles which fit to the chassis. If you now release the side panels screws it falls right off on the ground. The fact that every single piece is black makes the Lancool K62 look quite stylish in the dark when the blue fans glow through the panels.

With the K62 Lancool created a true gaming case which unfortunately suffers from some childrens diseases. The price tag is OK if we consider the accessories and the features but we would really wish that the fitting accuracy would be generally higher.
