The sidepanels as well as the rest of the case, are made of steel sheets. Removing the Thumbscrews on the back releases the sidepanel. There we would wish that the panels had some kind of clamps or u-profile to fix them in place with the chassis. This way the sidepanel just falls straight down to the ground if you remove the corresponding screws. Once the sidepanel is taken off, we find a lot of space to install hardware. If you'd like to install a very long graphics card like for example a nVidia GTX 295 or an ATI Radeon HD 5970 this isn't a problem at all thanks to the cases comfortable depth. The K62's sidepanel is delivered with a window made of acrylic glass. Unfortunately the window isn't very stable and can break quite quickly.

Totally you can install up to four hard drives into special carriages screwless. If you want to remove a carriage you'll first have to release a thumbscrew on the left side of the hard drive cage and pull it upwards. Now you can slide the carriage out and put your hard drive in. After you've slid the carriage back in it is recommended to pull the thumbscrew downwards and tighten it again that there isn't a possiblity for the hard drive to fall out of the cage.
