Conclusion

The X2000 is a big tower of very good quality but it also isn't cheap. The case is made completely out of aluminium. The Sidepanels have even a thickness of 2 mm and are covered with noise isolated material.

Still the PC-X2000 has some small issues but apart from this it is in fact a Lian Li case with an almost perfect build quality. There is plenty of space to install even a GTX 295 or 4870 X2 without encountering any problems. Nearly every edge is folded and deburred. 3.5'' Hard drives can be mounted using the aluminium brackets and afterwards slid in. On the front there are three 140 mm fans which all have an air filter to keep dust outside the case. On the back there are two 80 mm and one 140 mm exhaust fan which shall keep the inside cold. The additional features like HotSwap HDD cage, fan contoller, noise reducted side panels are just a few very good innovations from Lian Li built in the X2000. The possiblity to install the multibay on either the left or right side makes it one of a kind.

If you are looking for extra quality with decent design this definitely is your case. The PC-X2000 is an eyecatcher and surely not inconspicuous. In the full-tower league you probably will find an overall better case, but not one with this unique design, no matter if you're a hardcore gamer or office/desktop user.

Lian Li's PC-X2000 can be bought at Digitec to a price of CHF 570.- (EUR 370.-).
