Anschlüsse und I/O

To arrange the cables in your rig as neatly as possible Gigabyte provided the 790FTX-UD5P with ten, by 90 degree angled SATA connectors. Also very practical are the on/off- as well as clr-CMOS-buttons. At the point we would have wished that Gigabyte positioned these buttons in the bottem right corner of the board. There they would have been easier accessible. This way graphic card as well as ATX-power-connector are very close.

Totally you'll find four fan connectors on the Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P which have been placed at key positions on the board.

Looking at the external connectors Gigabyte spent the MA790FXT-UD5P two Gigabyte Ethernet Ports, eight USB 2.0/1.1 connectors, PS/2 keyboard and mouse connectors as well as a Firewire connector.
