With the PC-9 Lian Li built an aluminium midi-tower which is in fact expensive but has the typical Lian li quality which is well known. Apart from the fact that the harddrive cage is not compatible to SSDs and the too short fan cable from the back panel this is a very nicely and high quality designed case which is close to perfection.
If you look over these minus point the PC-9 is a full-blooded Lian Li case. There is plenty of space to install even a GTX 295 or 4870 X2 without encountering any problems. Also the manufacturing quality is at Lian Li typical very high standards. Nearly every edge is folded and deburred. Harddrives can be mounted using the aluminium brackets and afterwards slid in. On the side of the Harddrive as well as on the back you'll find a 120 mm fan which is equipped with an intake filter that can easily be taken off to get washed.
If you are looking for extra quality with decent design this definitely is your case. In the midi-tower league you probably won't find an overall better case no matter if you're a hardcore gamer or office/desktop user.
Lian Li's PC-9 can be bought at Digitec to a price of CHF 246.- (EUR 160.-).
