Genrally the software is kept
plain and simple. You'll find four tabs called button settings, sensitivity
settings, freemove and about. At first we take a look at "button settings". In
here the different buttons can be programmed with different functions. You have
the opportunity to chose standard functions from a drop down or do your own
combinations by recording macros which is like the whole software very easy.
Therefore you'll have to choose "Macro" in the drop-down of the corresonding
button, push the "REC" area and press the keys on your keyboard you want to
store to a button on your mouse. To finally save the settings to the Ikari's
onboard memory you just press "Apply to mouse" and within less than a second
your macro is available on the specific button.
Within the tab "Sensitivity Settings you're able to
program two different sensitivities to your Ikari Laser. Using the button behind
your mouse wheel you can afterwards switch between the different CPI-levels.
"Freemove" is Steelseries interpretation of an automatic interpolation of a straight mouse movement. If the bar is set to "Free" the cursors movement is an exact image of the mouse movement. On the other hand if the bar is set to "Straight" the mouse interpolates the movements towards a straight line.
