Conclusion

Arctic Coolings Accelero GTX280 Xtreme is a considerable cooler regarding single GPU systems which is available to a very fair price. After a correct installation the cooler does its job very good and there is still a lot of potential.

Cooling a GTX 280 isn't a big thing for the Accelero GTX280 Xtreme. It was even possible to overclock the GPU to 760 MHz and the memory up to 1300 MHz.

You might probably think about installing the Accelero GTX280 Xtreme in a SLI system. In this case we recommend not to do so because the cooler isn't made to work in such an environment. In a single GPU system you'll find very low temperatures at an also very low noise level.

Regarding the installation we would have been very happy about some instructions removing the stock cooler. Furhter we would wish that all the memory coolers and current converter cooler could fix by using screws.
