Story

The avatar in Darksector is called Hayden Tenno. He's an elite soldier with the order to eliminate a crazy scientist who wants to infect all human beings with the Technocyte virus which lets people mutate to zombies or just killing machines. As it has to be Hayed himself gets in contact with virus and he starts mutating. Still executing his order he gets unexpected help from a three armed boomerang "Glavie"which grows out of his arm.

Equipped with Glavie and numerous other weapons Hayden starts out to assassinate the crazy professor. On his way he happens to know more about the virus for example that it's extraterrestrial. The further he gets the more amazing abilities he gets which help our avatar to solve riddles or to finish an endboss.
