Story

Playing Major David Crenshaw, the HAWX squadron leader, who was disbanded by the US Air Force in 2014 you're working for Artemis. A private military company which has contracts with the Brazilian Government. Therefore Crenshaw is forced to attack US forces which leads to a change in his heart. He decides to change fronts and now again defends the US.

In Tom Clancy's Hawx you can play missions where you have to defend or attack a certain target. In the first missions you have to defend oil refineries in the desert as well as the famous city Rio de Janeiro. Therefore it doesn't matter if there are ground-, air- or sea units you just have to attack them all.

In Tom Clancy's Hawx a pilot goes back to his roots, ignites the jets afterburner and starts fighting against a superiority. Armed with modern weapons you go at ariel warfare. The fighting jets and their weaponry can be chosen at the beginning of every mession. At this point you have to find an equlibrium between speed, handling and armor. Also the armament should be optimized for the mission. For example when you have to eliminate a lot of tanks you also need air to ground rockets.
