Conclusion

The DFI Lanparty UT X58-T3eH8 comes with good performance figures and good memory compatibility (Corsair, Mushkin, Qimonda). All our tests were performed stable and the board was able to convince with the numerous overclocking settings. The high quality onboard components and the practical tools as for example ABS (Auto Boot System) make the package complete. Some issues we found with the layout and BIOS.

Regarding the layout we would wish that power- and Reset-Button wouldn't be placed directly underneath the PCIe slot. If you want to access it when a card is installed in this slot it just isn't possible. If you are using three graphic cards which are all carrying a dual slot cooler you won't be able to use the additional sound module.

Looking at the BIOS we would appreciate is if there were explanations to the many different BIOS settings you can choos from in the DFI BIOS.

With the LANPARTY UT X58-T3eH8 DFI presents a mainboard for the ambitioned overclocker with very good and profound knowledge regarding BIOS settings.
