Sapphire presents one of the first Radeon HD 4890 based on AMD/ATIs new and overworked RV790 chip. It comes with 100 MHz more clock speed on the GPU and 150 MHz more clock speed on the cards memory.
AMD/ATIs new and overworked RV790 chip comes now with 850 MHz GPU clock and 1950 MHz effective memory clock. Especially with these changes and a further improved board design AMD/ATI tries to show nVidia the way to go.
