Looking at the graphics Cryostasis can score with full Physix support as well as Shader Model 4.0. Therefore Cryostasis looks really good. The textures as well as the monsters and the light effects are on a very high level and with an appropriate gaming rig you'll enjoy the part of the game much. Unfortunately when you hit ten to fifteen enemies the framerate can drop very low even with an SLI-subsystem doing the graphics. Cryostasis just stays playable but it can really cloud your fun. Probably there will be a patch which solves this issue.

Despite the heavy drops in the fps rates you can nearly feel the cold atmosphere at your own body. Textures, effects and the leveldesign are rich of details and fit perfectly. Also attacks by enemies are nearly cinematic. If you have the opportunity to finally activate Physix you'll see all the particle effects and the game again feel some degrees colder.
