With the Rampage II Gene ASUS presents its first high performance micro ATX mainboard. Therefore ASUS tries to get a maximum of performance out of a minimal area. The small micro ATX board is based on Intels X58 chipset which comes with two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, SLI and Crossfire support, six DDR3 DIMM slots as well as an X-Fi eight channel sound chip.
This little thing comes with an eight phases CPU power design. Furthermore you'll find two phases for the QPI/DRAM, Northbridge and Memory.
Additionally there is a BIOS which suits nearly every overclockers wish. This and other point make the tiny ASUS Rampage II Gene perfect for overclockers, case-modder or lan-party visitors.
On the following pages you will see what the new ASUS Rampage II Gene is capable of.
