Mounting

To install the Zalman CNPS9900 on an Intel system you're provided with a backplate mounting kit für the sockets 775 and 1366. The installation on an AMD CPU can be done with the well known clip.

  

Zalman recommends an installation with the fan towards the I/O-Panel. On an Intel based system you can mount the cooler as you want, where as on a AMD system you will have two possibilities.
