Story

You paly the former soldier Alex Shepherd and you come back home after a dishonourable discharge. As you arrive you discover that there is no back home party for you and that your darkest nighmares became reality.

Shepards Glenn is empty, there is nobody in the destroyed streets and thick fog is surrounds the village. As he arrived at his home the situation gets even worse. His brother Joshua dissappeared without any trace as well as his father who was lookign for his son. Only his mother is still there but she is in very labile condition.

Promising her to find Josh, Alex starts to search for his brother. When you do so you will again and again find hints to a bafflign city ... Silent Hill!
