Gameplay

After the simple installation of the game and the start of the story, you'll have to go through a small tutorial. There EA Games makes you familiar with the 3rd persond perspective. You also learn how to attack and move even combos are explained. The controls are down to the basiscs and they are simple. But despite in the in-fight it is sometimes going to be a lot of keyboard hacking and mouse slapping.

In game you find several different classes. You can choose between magicians, archers or sword fighter. Further you can also choose if you want to fight for the good or the bad with all der their strenghts and weaknesses. At predefined points or after you were killed some where you can switch the race. You can even control siege machines and after huge battles with hefty combos you'll probably be able to control one of the heroes Aragorn, Gimli, Sauron, ...

All protagonists you know from the three films can be controled for a short tim. Especially with the Ents this makes a lot of fun.
