Gameplay

When you first start the game there will be a short tutorial where a friendly runner explains the basic steps to you and a small part of the things you can do ingame. When your jumping and running over the roofs of the city Mirrors Edge it remembers of Prince of Persia or Tomb Raider ...

... but something is different, refreshing different! It is not only that you control Faith via ego perspective it is also the way the whole game is designed. Steering Faith is very intuitive and soon becomes a habit. But that mean that it is easy. From time to time you'll fall down while balancing over a rope or jumping from roof to roof. Confrontation with the police or other enemies ar also different because you have no weapon and you have to fight yourself through this world using other techniques than just using raw force. Faith can only suffer a very limited number of hits by bullets so you have to be very carefully.

Always a choice with Faith is what she can best: running! When you get into serious trouble with enemies all over you Fait should start running just as fast as she can. When she's sprinting you can hear her breathe very heavy and the view changes you're getting a runner vision which helps you getting away where there is no way out. If you combine interactions simultaneously you also get some kind of bullet time which makes it possible to still have the overview over the situation.
