About Far Cry 2 we have mixed feelings. On one hand you'll find positive aspcets like a story close to reality, the interaction with the environment and a simple suitable hud without things you wont need.

On the other you'll also find a sometimes empty-headed artificial intelligence and boring missions you'll have to accomplish.

Further the requirements to the hardware are high for the graphics you get and they aren't much nicer than in the predecessor.

With the sound it is exactly the same as with the whole game. It isn't bad but it also isn't very good. All the ingredients to produce a really good game exist but you won't find the nice details, the spices.

Far Cry 2 really isn't a bad game. Everyone who likes realistic stories in games combined with a simple, suitable control should give Far Cry 2 a go. If you don't like sometimes boring missions, endless exploring of the map, average graphics and sound we'd recommend avoiding Far Cry 2.
