As you can expect in this point Far Cry 2 is similar to its predecessor. What you get is an easy control and a suitable hud without features you don't need. The healing process in Far Cry 2 is rather different. You don't just walk into a medics kit and recover immediately. Depending on the degree of your injury you can set yourself and injection or if it's more serious you'll have to get pliers to take bullets out of your body. If you don't have an up-to-date gaming rig you'll encounter some performance issues and you wont be able to enjoy the graphics to the fullest.

If you play yourself through the campaing you'll sometimes have to go through really boring assignments. At this point we would wish some more variety. It doesn't matter what therefore just not only driving around long distances. Sometimes the game seems to have a serious problem with the artificial intelligence of the bots. The worst case scenario are two bots passing you by talking to eachother while you're shooting at both of them.

One thing is very funny about Far Cry 2. You can destroy, devastate or burn just everything in the game. Therefore it doesn't matter if you take a rocket launcher, a sword or a flame thrower. The interaction with the environment in this point is very attractive to players who sometimes like to burn or blow up a little more than the just have to.
