Mounting

If you want to put the cooler on your motherboard, what you'll obviously do, you need to install a retention frame. On the frame you can now install the cooler which is a bit fiddly. To mount the 120 mm fan on the cooler you get two metal clips which allow an easy and fast installation.

 

We recommend installing this cooler without the fan attached. Otherwise it could be difficult.

On a Socket 775 motherboard you can mount the cooler in two different directions. We recommend installing the cooler in a direction that the mounted fan blows the air to the back wall of your computer case to support an optimal airflow.
