Compared to its smaller brother the Alpenföhn Gross Clock'ner Blue Edition carries a bracket made of copper not aluminium. Four massive heatpipes are the basis and establish direct contact to the CPU. Furthermore the 54 fins are cooled via a Y.S. Tech 120 mm fan.
The four massive heatpipes built from copper establish direct contact with the CPU and immediately catch the beholders view.
As you can see on the image above there are small gaps between the Heatpipes and the cooler ground plate. At the this point we would wish and appreciate a perfect manufacturing process with a planed ground plate.
EKL equips the Alpenföhn Gross Clock'ner Blue Edition with a blue illuminated fan to generate an optical impact. The rest of the cooler is held simple and down to what matters most, performance.
Sidewards the cooler got an incision which comes close to the heatpipes and is practical to install the cooler on your motherboard.
The fan labled by Alpenföhn measures 120 mm in diameter. Further it is equipped with four blue LEDs which generate an optical impact.
