Technical details
In a stylish wooden box you get three 2 GByte modules carrying the classical Mushkin heatspreader. Programmed on the SPD-EEPROM you'll also find presets with lower clock and timings: 1333MHz, 9-9-10-25.
Since the beginning of November this year there is a rumor in the internet that says Intel Core i7 CPUs will be damaged when the memory is driven with more than 1.65 volts of current. Therefore we decided to the the Mushkin memory on three different mainboards for 72 hours at 1.85 volts. We absolutely haven't been able to locate any damage done to our test CPU. We also can't explain why there is this rumor. According to our experience this is really just a rumor without hand and feet.
