Raidmax created a really good product with the Vampire, however we did find some small flaws. The Vampire is an interesting case with good features and without a hefty price tag. The design is always a subjective aspect and the aggressive and heavy lines will not appeal to everyone. Inside there is alot of space and you can install all sorts of cooling solutions. The bundle is good as well as and for example a fan controller is always a neat thing to have. |

The Vampire is made of steel and black painted ABS. You find these materials on the inside as well as on the outside. The material strength reflects the rather aggressive price point of this case and therefore the side panels are quite light. Despite the ODD and HDD cages cannot be removed, the interior is well layed out. There is for example more than enough space for CPU heatsinks and large graphics cards. The numerous rubber grommets are of excellent quality and they are virtually impossible to accidentally remove. |

The design is always a subjective aspect. However, we believe that the Raidmax Vampire wont be a case for everyone. During the installation process we found that HDDs and SSDs can't be installed tool-less. Apart from that there are no anti vibration grommets. As we mentioned before there is a 2.5 inch slot hot-swap bay at the top, which is surprisingly hard to use. Regarding cooling, the Vampire provides ventilation slots on almost every side of the case. On this model you can install fans with 200 mm size in the front and top. On all the other spots you can install 120 and 140 mm fans. | - Water cooling solutions

If you are looking for a full tower case, which is compatible with XL-ATX motherboards and allows you to build powerful gaming systems, then the Vampire from Raidmax is definitely worth having a look at. On PC-Cooling.de, the Raidmax Vampire is listed with prices starting at 119.99 euro excluding shipping costs. In our opinion this price is definitely reasonable. | -
